What is Morpheus 8?
Generally, factors like aging, genetics and weight fluctuations can cause sagging skin. Previously, skin tightening and fat removing were possible only through advanced cosmetic surgery. Today, the Morpheus8 device with radio frequency technology can be used to remove fat from arms and face; it can also improve the appearance and elasticity of the skin.
Morpheus8 is a minimally invasive, non-surgical treatment for entire body rejuvenation. This procedure is done with a technological device that combines micro-needling and radio-frequency to give patients a youthful appearance and improve skin quality, tone, texture and tightness by targeting the deeper layers of the skin and tissues of the face and body. This advanced micro-needling treatment is used for skin contouring and reshaping. It can also make the skin smoother and firmer. Morpheus8 is time-efficient and cost effective with little to no down-time and incredible benefits.
Using this method, you can treat loose skin, eyelid festoons and puffy eyelids. In this article, we will talk about Morpheus8, the procedure and the pre- and post-treatment instructions.
How does it work?
Morpheus8 is a tissue remodeling device that uses small needles to prick the skin and stimulate collagen production.
This procedure is not complicated and can be done after using a topical numbing cream on the patient’s treatment area. The Morpheus8 device has micro needles that perforate the skin and emit radio-frequency (RF) waves. The heat from these waves reaches deep into the sub-dermal layers of skin and increases collagen and elastin production.
Morpheus8 can coagulate the fat and contour the skin with little to no damage. It can also give skin a smoother texture, tighten loose skin and improve complexion. In fact, this procedure mimics a natural anti-aging process because radio frequencies of this device stimulate collagen and elastin production, which will in turn renew and reshape the skin.
This procedure takes no more than two hours and the treatment is suitable for all skin types. Morpheus8 also reduces the risk of post-inflammatory hyper-pigmentation and is completely safe for both large and small areas of body.
The areas that can be treated using Morpheus8 include:
The morpheus8 procedure takes 30 to 60 minutes and the results are noticeable after three weeks. For the best results you have to repeat the treatment after an interval of 6 to 8 weeks.
