Franklin Canyon – Hastain Trailhead
History
Nestled between Beverly Hills and the San Fernando Valley, Franklin Canyon Park has been a natural retreat since the 1930s, once owned by the oil-rich Doheny family. Today, its 605 acres of trails, reservoir, and wildlife are managed as open public space. The Hastain Trailhead is the most beloved entry point—leading hikers up winding slopes toward panoramic views of Beverly Hills, Century City, and the LA Basin.
