FaceTite is a radiofrequency-assisted lipolysis (RFAL) procedure for the face that gives you the chance to address skin laxity and unwanted fat pockets, as well as to rejuvenate your facial features.
Using radiofrequency energy, this facial contour enhancement stimulates the production of two vital proteins: collagen and elastin.
Your body produces collagen and elastin naturally, helping to keep your skin firm yet flexible and hydrated. As you age, however, the production of these proteins slows down a bit more every year — and that’s when the first signs of facial aging can appear.
What makes FaceTite so effective at stimulating collagen is that it uses both external and internal electrodes to offer more powerful results. The electrodes heat the skin and fat without damaging surrounding tissues.
Once the fat has liquefied, we can remove it using a cannula while the RF energy continues to make your skin contract and tighten, firming the area.
If you’ve noticed signs of aging on your face, like sagging, wrinkles, and fine lines, you may wonder if there are any solutions that don’t require surgery. At BWA Aesthetics, our dedication to offering leading-edge aesthetic treatments is represented in our reliance on one of the most advanced, minimally invasive facial contouring options: FaceTite.
This revolutionary solution uses radiofrequency (RF) energy to effectively target skin laxity and break down excess facial fat, helping you achieve a fresher and more youthful look — without surgery.
At your consultation, we will assess your facial structure to see what the right treatment options are for you. We’ll also consider your goals and expectations, putting together an individualized treatment plan designed to address your personal needs.
It’s also important for us to get your medical history, as well as information on any medications you take.
To prepare for the FaceTite procedure, we ask that you stop taking blood thinning medications and supplements. You also want to stop drinking alcohol for a few days before the procedure.
On the day of the procedure, you will want to avoid wearing makeup or lotions on the treatment area.
We will make you comfortable using local anesthesia and then make the necessary incisions for the procedure. The number of them will depend on the size of the treatment area. Through these tiny incisions, we insert the cannula — a thin tube that will suction out the liquefied fat.
We then inject the treatment areas with a tumescent solution, similar to what you would receive if you were getting liposuction. Then, we insert the FaceTite handpiece cannula, which has an electrode at the tip.
This electrode delivers the RF energy below the skin to liquefy fat. The other part of the handpiece rests on the outside of the treatment area, a metal wand that works as another electrode.
Having two electrodes allows the RF energy to follow a path upward through the skin to the external electrode. While the electrodes are heating up fat cells and liquefying them, the RF energy stimulates collagen production.
Because we will use local anesthesia, we recommend that someone drive you home after the procedure. We also suggest wearing a compression garment for the first few days after the FaceTite session to heal more rapidly.
Most people can resume normal activities within 48 hours after the procedure. You want to continue to avoid taking blood thinning medications and supplements as well as alcohol. These substances can slow down your healing process.
Some people may notice swelling, soreness, or itchiness in the treated areas. You may be able to see the first signs of the results within a few days. The full results, however, can take a few weeks to appear. Collagen needs time to build up in your skin.
The right candidate for FaceTite is someone who is experiencing:
It is a suitable treatment for adults of all ages who don’t want to go through an invasive treatment option like a surgical facelift for enhanced facial contouring.
Because the applicators that allow us to perform the procedure have many safeguards in place to prevent damage to your skin, FaceTite is both safe and effective.
You do need to be in good overall health and not have any infections at the treatment sites. It may not be the right procedure if you have severe sagging or wrinkles.
We can determine whether this procedure is right for you during your consultation.
Traditional facelifts are surgical procedures requiring general anesthesia and a long recovery period. Neither of these measures is a concern when you choose a FaceTite procedure. Requiring only tiny incisions, FaceTite lets you get back to your daily life much sooner.
FaceTite puts your body’s natural collagen production system to work to help you achieve the desired results for dealing with sagging skin. A traditional facelift, on the other hand, requires invasive surgery.
For most people, a FaceTite procedure can last about an hour. The number of treatment sites and their sizes can all influence the length of the procedure.
There’s no real downtime, but you still want to avoid very strenuous activities for the first 48 hours. After this period, you can resume your normal activity level.
Clients can experience both immediate and gradual results after a FaceTite treatment. You’ll be able to quickly see the recontouring that the removed fat has helped achieve. With time, you’ll also be able to see the changes collagen and elastin can make.
By effectively addressing early signs of aging and enhancing your facial contours, FaceTite can rejuvenate your face and confidence without the hassle of invasive surgery.
